Wksp: Soc Emot Lrng/Trma Prac (PK-5) Teachers will learn how to apply knowledge on brain development and developmental trauma to the teaching and learning process. This course will show teachers how to change the face of behavior, seeing students through a lens of skill not will and help teachers understand student behavior and performance in the classroom. Practical classroom tools to decrease teacher frustration and increase student success will be presented. Information on burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma and tips to build resiliency will be covered. | |||||||
