Wksp: Media Arts Workshop

This workshop will introduce participants to the Media Arts content standards that are a new addition the revised Montana State Art standards taking effect next school year, and explore ways to incorporate the different Media Arts content areas into the classroom. Students will develop and create different media artworks while learning different applications and processes in Digital Photography, Graphic design, Typography, Animation, Sound design, and Movie Editing. Participants will work with iPads, and open source media arts applications in these content areas. Class discussion will cover how to use the Media Arts applications in the classroom with digital storytelling and cross curricular integration.
