Stock Packing Skills This course will teach students the fundamentals of stock packing for the backcountry. Stock packing is an integral part of a backcountry management plan. Topics covered will include animal behavior and herd dynamics, care and feeding of stock, tack, saddling, and riding, types of pack saddles, packing resources, pack regulations, and sustainable stock practices. | |||||||
