Medical Assisting Externship Prerequisites: a grade of "B-" (2.7) or above in AHMA 203, AHMA 204, AHMA 206, AHMA 230, and instructor's consent.This is the capstone course for the Medical Assistant program and is designed to provide on-site clinical experience in a physician's office or a clinic setting. It provides opportunities to apply learned skills in various clinical and administrative procedures under the supervision of a medical doctor and office staff. | |||||||
