Women In Agri Wrkfrc 21 Cent

This special topics course will explore the role and contributions of women in agriculture in selected agriculture occupational pathways: research, extension, marketing, production, and administration. It will also explore the rewards, demands, and conditions for success in the 21st century. Students will study specific examples of women working in agricultural professions locally, nationally, and internationally. The course will provide students with a broad picture of agriculture, including providing food for growing populations and employment possibilities.
