Nursing Assistant Course Prerequisites: successful completion of a background check from an approved vendor, completion of required immunizations, ability to lift 25 pounds,and nursing department consent.Concepts and practices in basic skills for CNA. Course includes basic medical terminology, basic human anatomy and physiology, and the aging process. Students will gain understanding and application of the skills required to address the needs of the chronically ill residents in long-term care facilities.
