Pistolsmithing Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Firearms Finishing program or instructor's consent.This course is an in-depth study of the custom handgun, but the primary focus is on the model 1911. Topics will include building competition level pistols, fitting link and ramped barrels, throating, fitting slides to frames, installing aftermarket accessories, along with accuracy, recoil, and reliability. | |||||||
