Field Crop Production

Prerequisite: BIOB 110 N.This course is a study of modern agronomic field crop production practices as they relate to crop growth, yield, and quality. Topics covered include: environmental effects on crop development, plant breeding, nutrient and water management, cultural practices, pest management, harvest and postharvest handling, and current issues in crop management.
