Metal Art Design Prerequisite: WLDG 100 or instructor's consent. Students complete a project designed to take their metalworking skills to the next level. Specific techniques emphasized will vary by individual project. Topics include: layout, dividing a project into components, cutting torch, plasma cam, wire welding, tempering, metal staining, finishing, and shop and tool safety. This course may be repeated for a total of four credits as WLDG 191, WLDG 191: II, WLDG 191: III WLDG 191: IV. Students receiving financial aid or veterans' benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course. |
