Complex Care Mtrnl/Child Client Prerequisites: admission into FVCC ASN program, Montana LPN License; BIOH 201; BIOH 211; CHMY 121; M 115, M 121, M152, M 153, or M 171; NRSG 250; NUTR 221; PSYX 100 and WRIT 101 if not taken with practical nurse program.Corequisites: BIOM 250, NRSG 254, NRSG 258. This course prepares the student to provide care to maternal/child clients experiencing acutely changing conditions in settings where outcome is less predictable. Topics include care of the client during childbirth, high-risk pregnancies, obstetrical emergencies, neonatal emergencies, and infants and children requiring complex collaborative care. |
