Radiographic Testing II Prerequisite(s): EWLD 121This course is a study of radiographic testing and interpretation of both digital and film processing techniques. Students are instructed in radiation safety, regulations, and the characteristics of x-ray and gamma radiation. Students apply interpretation techniques on various lab samples to determine the cause and effects of discontinuities in welding samples and other materials. This course provides the appropriate instruction in both theory and practical training to prepare the student for the Level II radiographic examination. | |||||||
