Introduction to Letterpress Learn (or re-learn!) the basics of setting type, applying ink, and printing with a vintage proofing press and 100+ year old type! This once-prolific production process is being preserved as an art form and means of self-expression. Participants will choose a quote, short poem, or passage to set in type. Then they will print a small run of posters in single or multiple colors and participate in a print exchange with other class members. | |||||||
