Radiobiology/Radiation Protctn Prerequisite: AHXR 116. This course provides a comprehensive background on the interaction of x-radiation with matter, including biological effects at the molecular, cellular and organ system levels. Students are taught radiation protection to ensure safe use of x-rays during diagnostic imaging procedures, along with radiation quantities and units, monitoring methods, and regulatory limits for exposure. |
