Digital Imaging I This is a beginning course in the use of Adobe Photoshop. This class will introduce the concepts of basic digital image manipulation techniques. This includes cropping images, selecting details, creating new layers, adjusting color balance/contrast, adding type, web optimization, resampling/resizing of images, and using alpha channels. More intermediate topics such as layer mask selection, clipping masks, layer adjustments, filters, and image slicing will be introduced. The most recent version of Photoshop is highly recommended. |
