Intro Stock Inletting & Bedding Prerequisites: Acceptance into the Firearms Finishing program or instructor's consent.This course will provide information related to the selection of stock blanks. Differences between semi-inlet stocks and blank stocks will be discussed along with layout of stock blanks for both structure and aesthetic appeal. The course will provide students with the knowledge to inlet a semi-inlet blank to a barreled action with the use of inletting tools and markers. Shaping as well as installation of forends and grip caps are included. Inletting and shaping of two-piece stocks will also be covered. | |||||||
