College Chemistry I Prerequisite: appropriate score on the chemistry placement exam, or a grade of "C" or better in CHMY 121NL within the past two years, or Chemistry Department consent.Intended for science majors, this is the first of a two-semester course sequence of the general principles of modern chemistry, emphasizing the experimental nature of the science of chemistry and a more mathematical intensive approach, with emphasis on critical and analytical thought.
