Health Care Delivery The purpose of this course is to familiarize the student with the history and development of today's health care system in the United States. The lessons will provide an overview of the development of different types of facilities, the "continuum of care" concept that is the basis for modern health care, and examine the quality management process. Reimbursement mechanisms and managed care concepts that affect health care delivery are also included. | |||||||
