Health/Illness Child Prerequisite(s): BIOH 201, CHMY 121, M 115, WRIT 101, or acceptable substitution and acceptance into the Registered Nursing ASN.Corequisite(s): NRSG 247.In this course, the student applies holistic concepts to the professional nursing care of children and their families in health, illness, end-of-life and palliative care. Emphasis is placed on incorporating growth and developmental principles to facilitate positive health outcomes through health promotion, nutrition and disease prevention. |
